Background: (WARNING: SPOILERS LYKWOAH)

Allen Walker was born with a deformed left arm, and was discarded by his parents because of that. Or so he believes. I believe otherwise. Anyway, he was found and raised by Mana Walker, a traveling performer, thus the last name. Mana took care of Allen as if he was his own son, and the two had a very close bond.

When Allen was 12, however, Mana died. While in mourning, Allen was approached by the Earl of the Millennium, a... strange... creature... who creates Akuma, killing machines powered by a soul controlled by the Earl, though Allen didn't know this then. The Earl told Allen that he could get Mana back, so, of course, Allen agreed, and ended up creating an Akuma of Mana. Mana placed a curse on Allen when this happened, causing the pentacle over Allen's left eye, which allowed Allen to see the souls of Akuma out of his left eye. When the Earl ordered the Mana Akuma to kill Allen and wear his skin (literally; the Akuma take on the appearance of the people that call them), however, Allen's deformed arm turned into a giant claw and killed Mana. As he died, Mana told Allen that he loved him.

Soon, Allen was found by Cross Marian, a General of the Black Order, a group of people sworn to fight the Earl and his Akuma. Cross took Allen on as an apprentice, though he was a horrible, horrible master. Most of his orders consisted of getting Allen to pay his debts for him. XD; During that time, Allen started playing cards in order to exercise his left hand, and discovered the joy of cheating. He was extremely good at it, since his life was kind of on the line, as Cross demanded huge sums of money, and Allen couldn't even get enough after a full, backbreaking (again, literally XD; ) day of work.

When Allen was 15, Cross sent him to the Black Order headquarters along with Timcanpy, Cross's personal golem. Their golems are these... little... winged... bat-looking things, generally used for communication purposes. Well, mostly bat-looking. Timcanpy looks like the golden snitch from Harry Potter, and Tyki's Tease look like butterflies. Anyway, at the Order, Allen learned that the anti-Akuma weapons, like his arm, are called Innocence. There are parasitic types and equipment types; his is parasitic. There're... 109 pieces of Innocence in total, and the Order has recovered 48 so far, though they haven't found a host for each yet. (I think. I might just be saying random numbers, but it's around that.)

One other thing that Allen learned was that he was prophecied to be the "Destroyer of Time" (still unexplained as of yet in the manga).

As he went along in the Order, he met and befriended other Exorcists, namely Lenalee Li, user of the equipment-type Dark Boots, boots that let her... run... really... quickly; and Yu Kanda, user of the equipment-type Mugen, a Japanese katana that can do magic-type attacks as well. Though, er, Kanda wasn't exactly a friend. More like a rival. Other notable people include Komui Li, Lenalee's older brother and the "chief", in charge of sending the Exorcists out on missions, and the Science Team, which Komui used to supervise.

Allen's first important mission came when he and Lenalee were sent to the "Rewinding Town", a small town that kept repeating one single day over and over again. There, they found Miranda Lotte, a woman who constantly failed at everything she did, and... was compatible with an Innocence that was currently in a clock. It was her despair that causedt he town to rewind. While trying to help her, Allen and Lenalee met Road Camelot, who claimed to be one of the Noah Clan, and a relative of the Earl. Road was human, and yet not: she controlled the Akuma, and could regenerate from injuries, aside from her own special ability, that of dragging people into the world of "dreams". Allen and Lenalee managed to defeat Road with Miranda's help, whose clock sucked up the time they were injured, and, after deciding that she liked Allen, Road left with a cryptic message.

Following that, Allen was sent almost immediately on another mission, time time with Lenalee again, as well as Lavi, the weilder of... RAAAAWR, I CAN'T SPELL LAVI'S INNOCENCE... umm... Odzuchi Kodzuchi, HAH, I GOT IT, um. XD; Anyway, Odzuchi Kodzuchi, a size-shifting hammer that could also control the elements, and Bookman, Lavi's master, the keeper of unwritten history.

Apparently, Kevin Yeegar, one of the Generals, was killed horribly, left with only one message: the Earl was after the Heart. The Heart was a special Innocence that was the source of power for all the others. Neither the Earl nor the Exorcists knew which one the Heart was, or whether they had it or not. However, if the Earl were to destroy it, the rest of the Innocence would instantly be destroyed as well. Figuring that the Heart must be one of the most powerful Innocence, the Earl was now targetting the Generals, of which there were four left. All the rest of the Exorcists have been sent to find and protect the Generals, usually the one they trained under. All the Generals left regular correspondance with the Order... except one: General Cross Marian. In fact, some had thought that he may have died before Allen appeared. Thus, Team Allen was to find Cross, with the help of Timcanpy, who could, amazingly enough, pinpoint his master.

On the way, they met another Exorcist, a parasitic Innocence user named Aleister Crowley (...supposedly Arystar Krory, now, officially O_____o *still don't understand why the manga-ka would do that*), a "vampire" who grew stronger by drinking Akuma blood.

As they went on, however, they met trouble. Or, at least, Allen did. They found a Fallen One, an Exorcist named Suman Dark who betrayed the Order and sold information to the enemy in exchange for his life. Suman's Innocence backfired on him, turning him into a gigantic monster of destruction and sucking up his life to destroy everything around. Allen managed to save Suman, finally, only to see him die... eaten by something that looked like butterflies. There, Allen met Tyki Mikk, another of the Noah clan. Tyki's special ability was to pass through anything he chose to, including people. He also used a herd of flesh-eating butterfly-like golems called Tease. Many of the Exorcists, including Suman's companions, were killed by him, eaten from the inside out when he placed Tease in them.

Allen was on Tyki's assassination list (as the Earl assigned each of the Noahs a specific list of people to kill), and Tyki did, holding a Tease inside him and telling it to eat a hole out of his heart. After destroying his Innocence, mind. (The only thing that could destroy an Akuma was Innocence. Well, no, anything could, but only Innocence can save the soul chained to it. And the only thing that could destroy an Innocence was a Noah, and vice versa.)

Under Allen's orders, Timcanpy took Suman's Innocence and rejoined the rest of the Team Cross, and the group continued searching for Cross, following his trail across the sea, towards Japan, the home base of the Akuma. ...Yes, this is a Japanese anime. XD;;

Allen, however, did not die, and was found and nursed back to health by the China branch of the Order. Apparently, his Innocence, even while destroyed, didn't disappear, but instead became a sort of fog, covering the hole in his heart and saving him. However, he could not get it to go back to its original form again. He tried, but could not hold onto the form, no matter how hard he tried.

Blargh. This is getting complicated.

There was a "Noah's Ark" in Japan, controlled by the Earl. Yes, the Biblical one. It was... more like a teleport machine than anything. It was weird. Something like... a city with doors that led to different places. Anyway, the Ark was controlled by the 14th Noah, who betrayed the clan and relinquished control to someone else, believed to be General Cross. Giving up on trying to regain control of the Ark, the Earl instead decided to build a new one, and was in the progress of downloading the data from the first Ark onto the second. (Well. Technically, Road was.)

Meanwhile, an Akuma managed to use the Ark to get inside the China branch, to try and kill Allen, see. At the critical moment, because he was the main character, Allen's Innocence came back, stronger (and prettier *_*) than ever before, in a form called the Crowned Clown. Defeating the Akuma, Allen used the Ark entrance it left behind to board the Ark, and found his friends there. Well, Lavi, Lenalee (minus hair, and can't walk either now), Kanda, Crowley, and a random new guy named Chaoji. I still don't remember when Chaoji joined them. I'm serious. XD;

Um. Anyway. Tyki challenged them all to a game; they could leave if they found him, at the top of the Ark, before it got fully downloaded. On the way, they met challenges -- Noahs fighting against them. Kanda stayed behind to fight Skin Borick, and Crowley to fight Jasdero and Debitto, a set of twins. When they finally found Tyki, they fought him, and Allen discovered another ability of his Crowned Clown: his arm could turn into a sword and... come off... and it had exorcising abilities. He could remove evil. With it, he defeated Tyki without killing him. And then Road did weird stuff to Lavi, but that doesn't belong on an Allen app except the fact that ALLEN TOTALLY GLOMPED HIM. Lavi defeated Road, and the group got ready to leave. However, Allen, being the kind person he was, wanted to save Tyki. Tyki, who was now supposed to be un-evil. However, Tyki was still evil, and changed into a stronger form. Cross came to save the day, but Lavi and Chaoji fell into a chasm, and Allen went berserk.

And I was going to check when the previous Allen-mun left off the story, but realized that it didn't really matter, since it'll take Allen a while to remember everything here, anyway.

So. To keep going...

Cross enlisted Allen's aid. It turned out that the one with the power of the 14th Noah, the one who could control the Ark... was Allen, not Cross. Allen was taken to a room with a grand piano, where, apparently, he was the "Musician" and Timcanpy was the "Score". With the piano, Allen reversed the download of the Ark and saved all his friends. Under his control, the Ark now belonged to the Order.

...And Allen had a huge meal back at the order. HUGE. *nods*

Personality:
Allen is a sweetie~ He's very polite and kind, and always willing to lend a hand. However, he can be stubborn, especially with Kanda. He has... I suppose we can call it a "hero complex", though I'd really like to sound nicer about it, in that he's determined to save everyone. Unlike the other Exorcists, who fight to destroy Akuma, he fights to save them. Or, at least, their souls, since he can see their suffering, and can see their thankfulness when they get freed.

He also has amazing pain tolerance, both physical and mental. He's very strong as well, again, both physically and mentally. In the whole series, he's only broken down once, as far as I remember, and even then, he kept going. He follows the promise he made to Mana when he was little, that he would "keep walking forward". In a sense, he reminds me a lot of Ed, just... more polite. XD;

One of Allen's biggest defining features is that he eats. A lot. Like, a-whole-banquet-table-in-under-10-minutes type of "a lot". It is, apparently, partially due to his Innocence (parasitic Innocence users eat more than normal people, since it burns energy), but I think it's also largely just... him. Because none of the other parasitic Innocence users we see (ie, Crowley) eat nearly as much as he does. >.>;

He's also directionally challenged. Very. He can get lost in the most simple places, and all you can do is shake your head and wonder how. XD

Item Lost: His Innocence~ (This sounds so very wrong. XD) Anyway, his left arm is a normal, non-Innocenced arm now.
